The Village of New Lenox is excited to host Cruise the Commons again this summer!
These cruise night events will offer residents and visitors the opportunity bring their cars, trucks, Jeeps, and bikes and put them on display in the Village Commons. Cruise the Commons will take place on the third Tuesday of the month from May through September:
Tuesday, May 17 (5:00-8:00 p.m.), featuring a live DJ from Answer Back Entertainment
Tuesday, June 21 (5:00-8:00 p.m.), featuring music by Schtillrokken
Tuesday, July 19 (5:00-8:00 p.m.), featuring music by NXTLife
Tuesday, August 16 (5:00-8:00 p.m.), featuring music by Little Giant
Tuesday, September 16 (5:00-8:00 p.m.), featuring music by Fifty One Lincoln Band
Vehicles
We encourage all interested drivers to bring out their vehicles! There is no fee to participate. Vehicles of all makes and models are welcome, and registration is not required. There are no awards planned for this event. Please view the map below for details on entry into the event venue for participating vehicles.
Admission
Admission to this event is free. Guests of all ages are permitted.
Parking
The Veterans Parkway ring road will be closed to thru traffic during this event to accommodate the event activities.
Parking is available in the south lot of the Village Hall and behind Old Plank Trail Community Bank.
The New Lenox Public Library is open during this event. Please help us to treat our neighbor with respect by leaving their parking lot open for library patrons. We appreciate your courtesy.
Accessible parking is available in the Village Hall loading dock, located on the west side of the Village Hall.
Food & Beverage
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale from the concession stand courtesy of the New Lenox Community Park District. Beer, hard seltzer, and hard lemonade will be available for sale, with sales located in front of the Village Hall. Food trucks will also be on site at each event, and participating trucks are listed below.

No smoking is permitted on the Village Commons lawn during Village events. No pets are permitted in the Village Commons during Village events. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome and encouraged.
