ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT GROUP
Do you care for someone diagnosed with Alzheimer?s disease or a related dementia? Are you looking for information and support? You are not alone.

There is a new Alzheimer's Association Support Group meeting at Peace the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome! If you would like more information, please contact Karin Knutson at karinknutson@hotmail.com.

Join the New Lenox Fire Protection District Foundation at their annual pancake breakfasts on the 2nd Saturday of each month October 2017 - March 2018 from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

The Lincoln-Way Area Business Women Organization is a non-profit club established in 1971 to support the interests and networking of the business women in the workplace as well as to extend opportunities to local business women through education. LWABWO includes women from all walks of life, from entrepreneurs to employees, working together for the betterment of the community. LWABWO's main focus is to provide scholarship funds to graduating female high school seniors and adult women for the purpose of continuing education.

MEETINGS:

VFW Post 9545 Auxiliary’s
Bingo Benefit For Our Deployed Troops

The Auxiliary needs your help raising funds to send packages to our deployed troops. 
Every week the Auxiliary sends out 4 boxes to different troops which @ $17.45 ea. totals $3,071.20 in postage alone for the year.

In December they send out approximately 80 boxes for Christmas which totals another $1,448.35. So annually the Auxiliary spend $4,465.55 in “Postage” to send packages to Deployed Troops, of which many are from this Local Area. As far as donations to fill, depending what is donated the Auxiliary will add about $25 in supplies to each box.

We need your help to raise $$$MONEY$$$ for Postage and supplies so we can continue to send out packages to our Deployed troops. Please come out for a night of fun and Bingo to help make our fundraiser a success.

The PTO needs your help to make this event successful! We are looking for donations for our BINGO prizes ($1 store items and/or $2-$5 gift cards to local businesses). We also need raffle basket donations!

If you own a local business or know of one that would like to donate, we are in need of gift certificates, basket items, or full basket donations. This is a great way to advertise local businesses, as this event is well attended by District 122 families! Anything you can donate is appreciated and every little bit helps to create a successful event.

LWSRA is having a JUMPFEST on Saturday, January 27 from 12 – 6 pm (12pm – 1pm is reserved for individuals with special needs). Come enjoy a gym full of incredibly fun inflatables while helping to raise money for Lincolnway Special Recreation Association. The event will be held at the LWSRA Rec Center located at 1900 Heather Glen Drive in New Lenox. The cost is $10 per child - payable at the door. Providence Catholic Children's Academy is located on the campus of Providence Catholic High School. We invite all families with children ages 3-5 to our Open House on Sunday, January 28 from 10:00-12:30. Come take a guided tour of our facility and have your questions answered.
