OPIATE RECOVERY GROUP
An Opiate recovery Group meets at Peace  Lutheran Church each Tuesday night from 7:00 ? 8:30 p.m. Are you or a loved one struggling with heroin or opiate dependence? This support group meeting is for those struggling, those who love someone struggling, or those who just want to learn about the epidemic of heroin and prescription pain medications in our community. Addiction is a family disease, because everyone in the family suffers if someone is addicted to or abusing drugs. Too many people lost in addiction feel hopeless. The good news is people can and do recover, and lead happy and productive lives. Please join us! For more information please contact Tom Moore at (815) 354-3195.

Join us for one week, or all 3.5 weeks, or somewhere in between!
Each day there will be outside fun, snack time, free play, story time, crafts and games! 

WEEK 4: JULY 5-7 (Short Week)
WILD WATER WEEK
During this splashtastic bubble filled week of wet and wild fun, we will celebrate all things USA!

Weeks 1 - 3: $85 / Member or $95 / Non Member
Week 4 (short week): $65 / Member or $75 / Non Member

Stop by KidsWork Children's Museum and complete a Summer Camp Registration Form. Forms can be downloaded from our website. Payment must be made at time of registration and is non-refundable. Payments can be made via check by mail or credit card by phone call. Children must be potty trained to attend camp. Minimum of seven children need to be registered to avoid cancelation of a session. 

Join us for Wednesday movie nights in the summer! This week we'll be showing The Angry Birds Movie!

Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome and encouraged

ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT GROUP
Do you care for someone diagnosed with Alzheimer?s disease or a related dementia? Are you looking for information and support? You are not alone.

There is a new Alzheimer's Association Support Group meeting at Peace the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome! If you would like more information, please contact Karin Knutson at karinknutson@hotmail.com.

KidsWork Children's Museum presents Wild Wednesdays!
Join KidsWork on July 19th as they welcome Crosstown Exotics for Wild Wednesday! 

Crosstown Exotics features millipedes, tarantulas, cockroaches, centipedes and scorpions! Come learn all about conserving through captive breeding.

The Parkinson?s Support Group was established for those with Parkinson?s disease and their families as a place to learn and share. During support group meetings, participants will have an opportunity to listen to speakers address topics of particular interest to individuals who have Parkinson?s disease, as well as their family members. Future topics of discussion include diet, speech and swallowing, sleep problems, family member involvement, stress management, and handwriting. Participants will also have an opportunity to share their experiences and learn from the experiences? of others.
 
The support group meets the third Wednesday of each month from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (No meetings in July or December.) For more information, call 815.741.7562.
