Mayor Baldermann and the Village of New Lenox are excited to host a UNIQUE fall event for the entire community, Rock & Roll Silent Disco!
We hope that you can join us here in the Village Commons on Saturday, October 15th, from 6pm-10pm for the festivities!

What is a silent disco??
A silent disco is an activity where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather than using a traditional speaker system, music is broadcast via a transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphones worn by the participants. Those without the headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing without music. Visit www.silentevents.com for info!
Sounds FUN! But, how does it work?
At this event, every individual is given a pair of our DiscglowTM multi-channel wireless headphones that receive the music. Our wireless headphones allow you to go between the different types of music , played by different DJ’s, and also allow you to adjust the volume with the flip of a switch.
Do I have to roller skate?
No. Whether you choose to roller skate or not, as long as you have headphones on, you will hear the music! We will have two separate skating rinks available for use, one for younger children and one for all ages!
