About Tri-Star Cabinet & Top Co., Inc.:
Tri-Star Cabinet and Top Co., Inc. was founded in 1966 by three friends and co-workers looking to forge their American dream. After spending their first several years at small factories in Joliet, IL, Tri-Star moved to its current location in New Lenox in 1970, where, after experiencing significant growth, Tri-Star expanded to an 85,000 square foot factory and warehouse including a two-story showroom. Tri-Star has spent the last 50 years successfully serving the Chicagoland, northern Indiana, and southern Wisconsin areas, and continues to be one of the largest and most well-recognized brands in custom cabinetry.
After nearly 50 years in business, Joe Wilda, Sr., one of the three original founders, is now the sole owner and operator of Tri-Star. Joe Sr.'s dedication to the business, and the Tri-Star family, has been the key to Tri-Star's success and longevity. In addition, Joe Sr.'s talent and passion for artful wood working is unmatched, and his favorite hobby will always be creating and designing new pieces for his friends and family. Although, if you do not find him at Tri-Star or in his workshop at home, he is likely on the golf course or spending time with his wife and their eight grandchildren.
Joe Sr.'s oldest son, Joe Wilda, Jr., has been a integral member of the Tri-Star team for over 35 years, and now serves as the company's President. Like his father, Joe Jr. demonstrates an unwavering commitment to the business and the Tri-Star family. Joe Jr.'s commitment and leadership has Tri-Star well-positioned for continued and sustainable success in the future.
As a result of the Wilda's dedication to the business and its employees, many employees have been with Tri-Star for 30 to 40 years. The Tri-Star family demonstrates the same level of commitment and dedication to the business, and is the foundation and lifeblood of the company.
After celebrating its 50th anniversary, Tri-Star continues to look forward with a commitment to family values and an uncompromised tradition of quality and excellence.
