About James Budzinski, Financial Advisor for Edward Jones:
During conversations with my friends and family, it was interesting to learn how often people were changing jobs and careers. Over the past few decades, many companies have changed the way they manage their employees' retirement plans. In lieu of pension plans, more focus has been placed on voluntary 401K participation, adding uncertainty to their retirement savings.
This change brought me to Edward Jones. After a long career at a Fortune 500 company, l realized I wanted to be in a position to help people navigate the complex ever-changing landscape of retirement strategies. My position as a financial advisor allows me to focus on the client’s financial goals and needs, while they attend to their careers and upward mobility. It’s crucial for me to understand the client’s current financial situation so we can build a personalized strategy together.
I understand that each client is unique, and I listen to their concerns, whether retired or preparing for retirement, preparing their estate or being able to afford education for their children. Together, we translate these concerns into specific measurable goals.
Since 1985 the Lincoln-way area has been an incredible place to live with my wife and four children. We have enjoyed being active in the community; coaching soccer, baseball, basketball and volunteering with the marching band programs.
Interest in technology has led me to become a STEM program classroom mentor for Code.org in many junior high schools in Will County and surrounding areas. I have tutored junior high students in web design and database concepts.
My wife and I value continuing education. We are grateful for the opportunity to teach a variety of after school programs at The Bridge Teen Center.
