Play Day in the Commons

Play Day in the Commons is a day full of fun designed for the children of our community on Sunday, June 30 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Entertainment for Play Day is still being confirmed, but guests can look forward to stage entertainment, inflatable bounce houses, face painting, water attractions, and much more!  Details will be posted here as they are confirmed.

Admission
Admission to this event is free and so is access to all of our activities!  Guests of all ages are permitted.

Parking
A portion of Veterans Parkway will be closed during this event to accommodate the event activities.  Limited parking will be available on the street.

Parking is available in the south lot of the Village Hall as well as in the lots behind the New Lenox Public Library, Old Plank Trail Community Bank, and Trinity Services.

Handicapped parking is available in the New Lenox Police Department's administrative parking lot, located to the southeast of the New Lenox Police Department.

Food & Beverage
Food and beverages will be available for sale from the concession stand courtesy of the New Lenox Community Park District.

Additional Notes
Don't forget to bring a towel if you plan on participating in any water-based activities!  Additionally, we encourage lawn chairs and blankets if you plan on enjoying any stage entertainment throughout the day.  No smoking is permitted on the Village Commons lawn during Village events.  No pets are permitted in the Village Commons during Village events.
