Presentation: Mental Health Awareness
Chrissy Skrip, LCPC
Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we are so happy to welcome Chrissy Skrip to speak at our May meeting. Chrissy will talk about the various services and levels of care provided by Silver Oaks, but also what to do if you are experiencing a behavioral health emergency and that it is okay to not be okay.
About Chrissy Skrip:
Chrissy Skrip is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 10 years of experience in the mental health field. She started her career working in sexual assault/domestic violence prevention, the child welfare system and in residential treatment facilities. Chrissy started her work with inpatient treatment about 5 years ago at Chicago Behavioral Hospital’s Intake Department and transferred to Silver Oaks upon opening.
