Cruise the Commons

The Village of New Lenox is excited to introduce Cruise the Commons to our summer event calendar. These cruise night events will offer residents and visitors the opportunity bring their cars, trucks, Jeeps, and bikes and put them on display in the Village Commons. 

Cruise the Commons will take place on the last Tuesday of the month throughout the summer:

• Tuesday, June 25 (5:00-9:00 p.m.), featuring music by WoodFired Boys Band
• Tuesday, July 30 (5:00-9:00 p.m.), featuring music by The Walk Ins
• Tuesday, August 27 (5:00-9:00 p.m.), featuring music by Electric Avenue

Vehicles
Details for those who wish to bring their vehicles to display at this event will be available shortly.

Admission
Admission to this event is free.  Guests of all ages are permitted.

Parking
A portion of Veterans Parkway will be closed during this event to accommodate the event activities.

Parking is available in the south lot of the Village Hall and at Trinity Services.  Parking will be available at Old Plank Trail Community Bank after 5:30 p.m.

The New Lenox Public Library is open during this event.  Please help us to treat our neighbor with respect by leaving their parking lot open for library patrons.  We appreciate your courtesy.

Handicapped parking is available in the New Lenox Police Department's administrative parking lot, located to the southeast of the New Lenox Police Department.

Food & Beverage
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale from the concession stand courtesy of the New Lenox Community Park District. Beer and wine will be available for sale.

Additional Policies
No smoking is permitted on the Village Commons lawn during Village events.  No pets are permitted in the Village Commons during Village events.  Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome and encouraged.
